Members may submit one improvement for rebates each year.
Members may apply for 1 reward category per year or choose from the bundle opportunities to maximize savings. Applicants must provide receipts indicating payment form, as well as supporting documentation. Additional rules may apply. Contact MidSouth EC for details.

- The MidSouth Electric Co-op Rebate Program is available for residential members to complete energy efficiency projects on new or existing homes served by MidSouth Electric Co-op.
- Members can apply for 1 rebate category per year.
- Applicants must provide receipts indicating payment form, as well as supporting documentation.
- Applications must be submitted within 90 days of installation with pictures and supporting documentation.
- After rebate funding is depleted, all rebates will cease until new funding is acquired the following year pending board of director approval.
- MidSouth Electric Co-op reserves the right to make changes to the Rebates Program without notice.

Rewards Application

Thermostat Savings Program
Enroll your Nest or HoneyWell smart thermostat for a one-time $40 bill credit and additional $10 credits each June, July, August and September in the program ($40 annually).
Participating saves you money on the hottest summer days, while also rewarding your energy saving habits!
How It Works
There will be a maximum of 25 events each summer and each event will be no longer than 4 hours.
Events will occur between Noon and 9 p.m. on non-holiday weekdays.
You’ll only get 1 event a day, and there will never be more than 4 events in a week.

New Home Rebate
MidSouth Energy Efficient Home has the potential for a 30% annual reduction in heating and cooling costs. MidSouth Electric Co-op offers a rebate of up to $500 for a new home that meets our energy efficient home program requirements.
Before you start building your new home, call (936) 825-5100 for more information about making it a MidSouth Energy Efficient Home.
Once the home is built and complete, turn in the completed rebate form. Once the application is received and verified, you’ll receive a rebate in the form of a check within 3 to 4 weeks.
